The Fairline Holiday was the most popular craft to date built by Fairline with over 590 boats built.
This semi displacement deep V hull with rounded shallow transom section was designed by John Bennett. The design produced a craft suitable for inland and sheltered coastal use.
The interior design offers 2 conventional V berths to the bow section with 2 further berths extending aft under the cockpit. This was one of the first designs of cruiser with an elevated cockpit height giving good cruising versions. Some craft have been re-engined over the years.
Liberty Blue has had a considerable amount of trim refit carried out by the current owner making a very bright and modern feel to the boat.

From the forward end you will find a comfortable Vee berth and seat arrangement, with a single pedestal drop in table gives dinning space and seating for 4. The table can be lowered and additional cushions placed to make a double berth. The new white vinyl covers with blue piping have given the interior of the boat a big boost as far as appearance goes, along with new carpets and curtains throughout.
To the starboard side is the galley area with a stainless steel twin burner stove and grill. the work top above. Next to the stove is a stainless steel circular sink and drainer with a newly fitted work top to the right hand side. The current owner has fitted a fridge under the work top which has illuminated one of the single berths under deck floor this can easily be converted back to restore the 4th berth if required. On the opposite side is a half height hanging cupboard next to the toilet and wash room which has a sea toilet and location to store the table top when not in use.
Moving up into the cockpit you will find that all soft trim on the helm seats and seating across the stern has been re-upholstered giving the boat a uptodate look. Liberty Blue has the original depth log found in this type of craft along with sliding hatch with chart/map enclosure. As with all Fairline Holidays the instrument panel was well designed to good visual on instruments and with raise cockpit area give a excellent view all around the craft. Both helm and co-pilot seats are adjustable forward and backwards and height with a moulded step / foot rest within the bulkhead. The halm and co-pilot seats can be rotated to face the stern seating, the table can be mounted out in the cockpit for dinning outside. Liberty blue comes with an array of equipment, boat pole, mooring lines, life ring, fire extinguishers, fire blanket. To the left of the helm consul is addition 12volt power outlet. The cockpit floor has a moulded anti slip finish with self draining gully around engine hatch and storage hatch. A well designed and thought out boat for you to enjoy many years of boating.
Liberty Blue will make a great starter boat for a couple or family, with access port and starboard or down the access ladder onto the bathing platform for "stern too" mooring. Around the decks are polished stainless steel grab rails, forward pulpit rail and to complete the boat a pair of polished stainless steel "davits" to hoist up a dingy/ tender on when not in use. Some minor repair work is required to the canopy.
