This craft has undergone a part refit over the winter of 2008. She now has a solid Oak floor throughout. A solid fuel burning stove has been installed to the main saloon. The galley has over doubled in size, and boosts a newly fitted kitchen with bosch oven and 4 ring induction hob. The Ensuite has also been enlarged and undergone a part refit with his and her sinks.
This boat has recently been out of the water for blacking and survey. Late 2008
HULL, DECK & TOPSIDES; Constructed in 1991 by Steelcraft Ltd., to a traditional Dutch Barge design, the deck layout consists of a short foredeck, a long raised accommodation area, adequate side decks and a large full width aft deck, this deck is fitted with 3 large alloy chequered pattern deck plates which allow access to the batteries, steering gear and stern thruster. A Mikuni Boiler is also housed in this area. Deck lockers of solid teak construction are fitted in fore and aft decks. Accommodation access is via a single door from the fore deck, a double door side entrance situated amidships on the port side and fully glazed, triple doors, from the aft deck to the wheelhouse. Windows and windscreens are alloy framed with double glazed toughened glass fitted. Solid teak is used for all external joinery on the deck lockers, hatches, pigeon box and doors. Accommodation:
GENERAL; The accommodation consists of a large wheelhouse, a very large saloon, a large galley and breakfast table, a large owners stateroom with ensuite shower room. The fit out is to an exceptionally high standard, hand built in Canadian Maple, with high quality colour co-ordinated upholstery, linings and curtains.
HARDWARE; Polished stainless steel and chrome have been used throughout the construction. MAIN SALOON; A large L shaped settee is fitted to starboard, with plenty of stowage underneath. Solid fuel fire is fitted 2009, New solid Oak flooring fitted 2009.
GALLEY/DINING ROOM; This room has undergone a complete refit. The all electrically equipped galley is fitted with a new bosch 4 ring hob with extractor over, a new bosch oven and grill, combination microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/drier.
OWNERS STATE ROOM; A large spacious cabin with ensuite shower room, The cabin is fitted with a large central double bed, a full range of hand built fitted wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers in Canadian Maple and complimented with a hand build matching chair. On the port side a large radiator is fitted with a large range of lockers. A stereo cassette player with speakers is fitted. Steps and doors provide access to the for deck. The ensuite shower room is fitted with a standard shower cubicle, vanity unit with twin his and hers wash basins, a sea toilet and chrome radiator, ceramic tiles line the shower walls.
WHEELHOUSE; A roomy wheelhouse with teak fully glazed folding doors leading onto the aft deck, teak is also used for the wheelhouse sole with 2 x large hatches which give access to the engine room. A substantial helm position is to port with clearly defined panels in stainless steel for engine instrumentation, DC and AC circuits. Lockers give access to electrical main switches and circuit breakers. Plenty of stowage lockers are provided. Chrome radiator on starboard side.
MECHANICAL; The craft is fitted with a Perkins M90 diesel engine, connected via a hydraulic drive system to a stainless steel propellor shaft and bronze propeller. A Volvo Penta diesel engined 15 kva generator is installed and provides power for all the crafts electrics, suitable shorepower connections are provided for alongside arrangements. Bow and stern hydraulic thrusters are fitted, hydraulic steering is also fitted. Equipment fitted but not previously mentioned includes; 2 x fully automatic deep cycle battery chargers are installed connected to each bank of 12 volt batteries. VHF radio is fitted in the wheelhouse, smoke detectors are fitted in all the cabins. Adequate automatic and portable fire extinguishers are provided. Cat D ,
